ang pangarap kong maging doktor ay unti-unting natutupad. as in unti-unti talaga. pero kahit sa mumunting paraan, nararamdaman ko ang katuparan nito.
last january 2009, i inquired at auf-med dept. regarding their study now pay later program. i've been wanting to ask for the program mga later months pa ng 2008 but i never had the courage to ask until this january. kung tutuusin e ang dali lang naman ng gagawin ko di ba? magtatanong lang. tapos. finished. pero dahil dahil napakahalaga sa akin nito, sobrang kinakabahan ako. ka-level nya ang stress ko nung interview ko sa us embassy. ganon ako ka-tensed. as in nangingilid pa sa luha mga mata ko habang papunta ako ng twin building. i've had a few turn downs sa mga plano ko at ayaw ko nang madagdagan pa kung malaman kong wala ng pag-asang maging akong doktor.
luckily, naging ok naman ung inquiry ko. although it's not that promising but still i hold on to the chance it could give me to achieve my dream of becoming a doctor, a surgeon in particular. the secretary told me that i should first enroll one semester before i could apply for their study now pay later program. quite a pressure on my part dahil wala akong savings and my family isn't willing to pay for my med school. so i came up with a plan and hopefully it works out. i'll try getting a 90+ score at my 3rd nmat exam so that i could apply for entrance scholar and won't have to worry for my tuition for the first semester. but if this fails, a very dear friend is willing to lend me money for tuition. now i'm pressured! hehe... i really have to save my money because schooling doesn't end with tuition fees. i need to save up for my allowance and miscellaneous expenses. i'm trying to set aside as much as i could from my salary, and i know it would'nt be enough so i asked for my friend's help. actually, their donations. ehehe
i gave each of them piggy banks para ipagipon nila ako. 5 pesos a day! or any amount they could save for me. sabi ko nga, kahit piso, i would still make a difference. since the people i've asked really knew how much i wanted to be a doctor, they did not have second thoughts when i asked them the favor. (hmmm...WALA NGA BA?) so here they are...ang mga taong magpapaaral sa akin:
