Christmas eve 2009

It’s a different Christmas Eve this year. 3 VAs, 1 preterm and 1 stab wound. It is definitely a Merry Christmas. This is my 2nd Christmas Eve away from my family and it saddens me every time I think that there are a lot more Christmases, holidays and birthdays away from my family and friends. I have to be at work tonight, good thing my brother and his family were able to stay with my tatang for tonight’s Noche Buena.

Well Christmas eve wasn’t that bad at all. I had noche Buena with my co-workers at the hospital. Everyone brought something for dinner and it was just as special if we had spent it with our families.

This is what I love about working at SCAFMC. It’s the people I work with here that keeps me stay longer. We don’t earn a lot here, but the friendship that blossoms from working with each other makes it all worth it. =)
